FAPAGOW Endorsements for November 8, 2022 General Elections
The Filipino American Political Action Group of Washington recommends the following candidates for the November 8, 2022 General Elections in Washington State.
Our endorsement committee, made up of FAPAGOW West and East representatives with local political and community expertise, collected the list of candidates for consideration, conducted political research, deliberated and evaluated the candidates’ support for state and national issues that impact the community concerns that FAPAGOW advocates for: IMMIGRANT RIGHTS; US VOTING RIGHTS; RACIAL JUSTICE & BLACK LIVES MATTER; EQUITY IN EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, CONTRACTING, HEALTH, HOUSING & HUMAN SERVICES; and FILIPINO AMERICAN COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT.

FAPAGOW August 2, 2022 Primary Endorsements
FAPAGOW proudly endorses the following candidates for the August 2, 2022 Primary Elections in Washington State.

Our endorsement committee, made up of FAPAGOW West and East Washington representatives with local political and community expertise, collected the list of candidates for consideration, conducted political research, deliberated and evaluated the candidates’ support for issues that FAPAGOW advocates (IMMIGRANT RIGHTS; US VOTING RIGHTS; RACIAL JUSTICE & BLACK LIVES MATTER; EQITY IN EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, CONTRACTING, HEALTH, HOUSING & HUMAN SERVICES; and FILIPINO AMERICAN COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT).
Our FAPAGOW board members voted to approve these candidate endorsements. The endorsement process accounted for our previously endorsed candidates, and we are thanking those who are running unopposed for their continued service. As in the past, we have made multiple endorsements when the consensus is that more than one candidate in a position is worth supporting.

FAPAGOW endorses statewide and local candidates who advocate for Black Lives Matter and asks people to vote by August 4.
FAPAGOW is a progressive non-partisan organization that advocates for: climate and environmental justice; racial and economic justice in education, employment, and contracting; and culturally and language accessible and affordable health, human and housing services. With the urgent call to Support Black Lives and timely community and self-reflections, FAPAGOW stands in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement. FAPAGOW strongly supports the movement’s quest for justice for the victims of police violence and for racial and economic equity.
